| According to George Kovalenko, "Ever-Ready" was a brand name used by the Edison Pen Company. It doesn't appear that Edison made any of these, however. The early flattops, at left, are clearly J. Harris products. The next four (particularly the two black ones) are of National Pen Products lineage - compare to the last example on the Diamond Medal page.
