| Rite-Rite was another Chicago manufacturer, and their products are a little different. The first example has a wonderfully ornate clip. The second is actually a wood pencil laminated with a thin veneer of celluloid. The three flattops are fairly standard z-clip flattops, but the colors are outstanding. The last two are pretty neat torpedo top, rear drive pencils, which were patented August 22, 1933 (number 1,923,153 - view here). The last example, in lapis, sports a clip nearly identical to a mid-30s Eversharp Dollar pencil, and is marked only underneath the cap. |

| Later, clips were imprinted "Dixon's Rite-Rite." All these examples are practically identical to Sheaffer Utility pencils. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
